What to Expect
Your adventure starts with a hotel pickup, followed by a short drive to Puerto Morelos beach, where you’ll board a boat that will take you to explore the magnificent Mesoamerican Reef, the second-largest reef in the world. You’ll have about two hours to snorkel at two different locations, where you can admire colorful coral formations, tropical fish, and marine life.
After your snorkeling experience, you’ll have free time to enjoy the beach in Puerto Morelos, soak up the sun, and swim in its calm turquoise waters. You can also stroll through the town’s charming streets, browse local shops for souvenirs, and choose a restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal—either in the town center or by the beach.
Before heading back to your hotel, take in the stunning sunset while walking along the shore or indulging in a sweet treat like churros or marquesitas from a local vendor.
