What to Expect
Your journey begins with a hotel pickup, followed by a scenic drive through the lush jungle to Cobá, an ancient Mayan city known for its impressive pyramids and vast network of stone roads. Upon arrival, you’ll have approximately 2.5 hours to explore the site at your own pace. You may walk, rent a bicycle, or take a bicitaxi for a more relaxed experience (optional, additional cost).
After exploring the ruins, we’ll head to a nearby cenote where you’ll have around 1 hour to swim and refresh in its crystal-clear waters.
After swimming in the cenote, we’ll stop at a local restaurant where you’ll have time to enjoy a traditional meal before continuing the cultural portion of the tour. Lunch is not included, allowing you the flexibility to choose what you prefer.
Next, you’ll visit a local Mayan community where you’ll gain insight into traditional practices, culture, and daily life. This authentic experience offers a meaningful perspective on the region’s living heritage.
Finally, we’ll return to your hotel in the evening after a full day of history, nature, and culture.
